当キャッテリーはTICAとCFAに登録されたメインクーン専門キャッテリーです。 TICAの登録ネームはＣｈａｎｔｉｌｌｙｃｏｏｎ，CFAの登録ネームはＣｈａｎｔｉｌｌｙｃａｔとなりますが、 TICAでの活動が主なのでＣｈａｎｔｉｌｌｙｃｏｏｎが看板となっております。
当キャッテリーは茨城県竜ヶ崎市にあります。 冬は寒暖の差は厳しいですが、日本有数の日照量を誇る地でもあり、私も休日はよく猫達と日向ぼっこをしたりしています。
2001年春、我が家に2匹の猫がやってきました。 メインクーンのアントンとノルウェージャンのありんこです。 はじめは単にペットとして可愛がるために迎えました。 そのうちに、アントンのブリーダーさんからキャットショーへの 出陳を勧められ、ショーの世界を知ることになりました。 そこでは全国の素晴らしい猫達が勢ぞろいするばかりか猫友達も作ることができ、 いろいろと教えてもらうことで猫の飼い主としての教養が深まったように思います。
アントンを連れて行った私は、ファイナルインしてロゼットを貰う嬉しさ を覚えてしまいました。そして、ペットとして譲っていただいたアントンが 実は素晴らしいショータイプだったこともその時に知りました。 その後で、ありんこも同じく素晴らしいタイプだった事が分かりました。 最終的にアントンはアジアリージョナルアワードのアルター部門で８位、さらにベストメインクーンアルターの栄誉に輝いたのです。 ２人のブリーダーさんのお陰で私はキャットショーを通してそれぞれの猫種の 奥深さを知ることとなり、もっと勉強してみたいと思うようになりました。
幸運にも私はブリーダーさんから猫のオーナーとしての楽しみ方を最大限に教えていただけました。 私も、ブリードをするからにはChantillycoonから出た子が将来のオーナーさんに喜びと幸せを運んでいけるように、 またよりよいタイプを目指したブリードをしていきたいと思います。親ブリーダーさんと同じく、オーナーさんに喜ばれるブリードを目指したいです。 当面は小さな小さなキャッテリーですけどね。。
最後に、私の希望を理解し、素晴らしい猫を託してくださったブリーダーさん方に感謝いたします。 ブリードも楽しみですが、私に関わった猫達が末永く健康で幸せな生活をしていける事が私の最大の願いであります。
Welcome to "Chantillycoon" which is resistered for TICA & CFA. Although my catteryname of TICA is " Chantillycoon " and CFA name is " Chantillycat " , I introduce my cattery as " Chantillycoon " because I work mainely at TICA.
My name is Ayako. We live in Ryugasaki-City of Ibaraki prefecture in Japan which is a suburban city of Tokyo.
In Winter, we have a great amount of sunshine though the difference of temperature is severe. I often bask in the sun with my cats on a holiday.
In the spring of 2001, two cats came to my house , ANTONIUS (MC) and ARIYA (NF). We welcomed them to love as a pet. Before long, I became to know a catshow because the breeder of ANTONIUS recommended me to take him to a catshow. There are many, many excellent cats from everywhere of Japan. And I could make many friends, from whom I was told so much things about keeping cats and consciousness as a owner.
I took ANTONIUS to a catshow, he got final rosettes. I was so pleased and proud of him, so I became to like catshow. And then, It became clear that ANTONIUS was an exellent show cat ! ( He finaly won a prize of " TICA Asia Best Mainecoon Alter, Best 8th Alter, RW ".) Later, It also became clear that ARIYA was an exellent show cat ,too. ( She got GCA in one day! ) Thanks to my breeders, I studied the deepness of each species through cat show, and came to think that I want to study more.
Fortunately, I could be taught how to enjoy being as a owner of cats from my breeders. I sympathize with my breeder's belief of keeping pleasure of owners. So I will breed for the purpose of that Chantillycoon can carry joy and happiness to the future owner, and aim at the better type. For the time being, chantillycoon is a small, small cattery.
Finally, I appreciate my breeders who understand my hope and gave me my wonderful cats ! I am looking forward to seeing future kittens, my greatest wish is that the cats concerned with me can live a life of being healthy and happy all the time.
